Caregivers Training Grant
The Caregivers Training Grant (CTG) allows caregivers to tap on a $200 annual subsidy to attend CTG-approved training courses so that they can better care for their loved ones.
The grant is administered by the Agency for Integrated Care (AIC), and given out in the form of training fee subsidy for caregivers.
The amount of $200 is allocated to each care recipient every financial year (starting from Apr to Mar the following year). For example, if there are two caregivers caring for one care recipient, the total grant eligible is $200 per year and not $400, as there is only one care recipient.
Care recipients must be Singaporeans or Permanent Residents above the age of 65 or have a disability (as certified by a Singapore-registered doctor).
Family members or foreign domestic workers who are the main caregivers to these care recipients can attend a wide range of CTG-approved courses pertaining to:
• Managing day-to-day care
• Caring for loved ones with dementia, chronic illnesses, etc
• Preventing falls and home safety
• Managing loved ones with disability
