MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) is a chemical found in plants, humans and animals. When combined with glucosamine and chondroitin it is often used as supplement for arthritis.
Very small amounts of MSM can be found in Fruit, Corn, Tomatoes, milk , tea and coffee.

MSM has been proven by scientific studies to help in relieve pain from arthritis, tendinitis, synovitis and joint degeneration. It may also may benefit a bit for wounds, allergies, repeated stress injuries and bladder disorder like cystitis.
Possible side effects
MSM is generally safe for most adults.For lactating and pregnant woman, there are no evidence to determine the pregnancy category of this supplement hence it is best avoided.
